From Europe to LA, TANANA returns with a bang. Building on the stark, minimal style of initial releases (STAR EP, UP and TESLANATION singles), SITUATION is pure electronic pop. A true international collaboration produced between Europe and Los Angeles.Composer Miro Kepinski has made his mark in film and TV (The Wounds We Cannot See, Metanoia, The Last Taboo), textural electronic music (Coldstate w/mastering engineer and producer Maor Appelbaum), and remixing (placing in remix competition for Ultragore artist Tombs). TANANA is Miro's expression of a more refined, evolved, dance-centric electronic style. With the addition of new collaborator Steve Krolikowski, TANANA moves from Europe to Los Angeles, and this is reflected in the radio-ready sound of SITUATION. Steve's songwriting and vocals are already heard in indie band REPEATER and in FEAR AND THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, the conceptual side project of Korn's James 'Munky' Shaffer. SITUATION draws from retro Synth-Pop and current EDM sounds as well as the pop sensibilities of Post-Disco and R&B Dance. Krolikowski abandons rock grandeur for pop precision and tight harmony, with lyrical hooks to match. Produced by Miro and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Limp Bizkit), SITUATION is ready for any Summer playlist.
